Contra Indications

- Very Large Varicose Veins.
- If ladies are pregnant.
- Wrapping can take place after childbirth, but a client must wait for the Post Natal examination which is usually six to eight weeks after the birth of the baby.
- Operations – Surgical, no wrapping for minimum of 6 months.
- Cancer (please call for advise).
- Phlebitus.
- Diabetic.
- Heart problems.
- Hiatus Hernia.
- Open wounds.
- Some skins disorders (although this is an excellent treatment for Psoriasis and Eczema).
- Any clients must notify their beautician if there is a history of either low or high blood pressure (Wraps are possible but it will then be the Beautician’s decision.
- Maximum weight for wraps is 17 stone.
